Auspicious dates..

Does anyone else think its important to choose an auspicious date for a festival or am I mad!?!? Okey maybe I'm mad :) I have my big wall chart open with all the different dates on it of things we have planned and things to do, and I'm trying to match up free dates with auspicious dates, cos we've got something BIG and it needs a BIG date... but I think that in reality we have to go with weekends and available venue dates. Looks like the idea dancing under the stars and a full moon on a date which brings good luck and good fortune will be drown out when it comes to dealing with suppliers and venues and providing toilets and tea for 3000 plus people! The reality is though that whenever it is, 3000 plus people are going to come together for something special and that's all GOOD :)

Quite a responsibility!

Having a website is quite a responsibility! You've got to get everything just right. Colours, images, pages. I've just chosen new images for the front of the web page. I like them even if no one else does!

Sound system problems rectified for the time being. Dates set to view new venues. Festival organises conference looming.. so much to do! It is all quite exciting too!

Will try and work a way out of adding the images.. All comments gratefully received !

PA Systems

I don't think I'd ever imagined for one minute that I'd be having conversations with people about PA systems! Not the most interesting topic for me, and not really my field! Course there's a lot more to organising events and festivals. I guess one day, I'll be an expert at sounds systems. Then I'll just have to practice my posh voice and use the thing! Or maybe practice my charming voice and charm someone else into using it :)

Getting Started!

Get a few people together.. its a gathering. Get the right mix of people and it can be inspirational!

So I have this idea... providing people with the space to be. An inspirational space. A place where you can dream, explore and discover your true potential. Thats the idea anyway! So me and my mate get together and an idea becomes a reality.. Well.. Watch this space and see!
